The National Reporting System (NRS) for Adult Education and Literacy is a performance and financial reporting system designed to collect aggregate statewide data from formula grantees on an annual basis. It reflects the requirements of the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA), Title II of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The Adult Education Program Study (AEPS) was conducted to provide comprehensive information about federally funded adult education programs and the skills of participants enrolled in those programs. The study had two primary goals. The first was to gather and disseminate information about the programs that constitute the adult education system in the United States.

Jul 12, · The fourth Global Report on Adult Learning and Education (GRALE 4) is in preparation and is scheduled for publication in The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and the GRALE 4 authors and editors defined the outline of the report and its chapters during an expert meeting that took place from 2 to 3 July in Hamburg, Germany.
